Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd in Bristol area seeks a dual-role Mobile Vehicle Technician / Technical Service Controller. Salary £38,000 per annum; Monday to Friday with no weekends. Office-based coordination and field visits for servicing on light commercial vehicles.

You will support the service team, train new technicians, and travel to client sites as needed while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience diagnosing faults and performing repairs.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a link between customers, service team and technicians, tracking work in progress.
• Advise on repairs, maintenance schedules and service intervals.
• Provide updates, obtain authorisation and resolve queries.
• Travel to customer sites for servicing and repairs on light vehicles.
• Lead and train technicians, and support on quality inspections.
