Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician for Cambridge. The role covers roadside assistance, fleet servicing, and DPF work, with a focus on autonomy and career growth within a expanding fleet maintenance company.

Benefits include a basic salary up to £40,000 with an OTE of £45,000, a Monday-to-Friday 8am–5pm schedule, and one in two Saturdays off with a day in lieu. A company van and tools are supplied, plus ongoing training and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Proven mobile, dealership, or breakdown repair experience.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile servicing, repairs and diagnostics on a range of vehicle makes and models.
• Perform DPF cleaning, inspection and repair on-vehicle when possible.
• Support roadside and breakdown assistance as part of the mobile team.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate paperwork of work and parts used.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment per company policies.
• Support fleet maintenance schedules and deliver timely, quality service.
