Job description

As a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you will bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you will deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We will equip you for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit.

Key Highlights

• Competitive base salary of £38,625 with on‑target earnings up to £50,000 plus bonuses and premium‑rate overtime.
• Guaranteed overtime option to increase the base salary to £44,385; extra rest days at £30 per hour (one day a month can add £3,000 to yearly earnings).
• 40‑hour week (8:30 am – 5 pm core hours, one Saturday in four) with full-time availability Monday‑Saturday 8 am‑8 pm.
• Full equipment provided: van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit.

• You enjoy mixing tasks – servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks – and manage stock, reporting and communication.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
