Job summary

TrustFord in Edinburgh invites applications for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles across Edinburgh, Galashiels and surrounding areas. This is a 24/7 operation with flexible hours to suit you and a route-based role that keeps you mobile.

You will diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems, provide excellent customer service, and work to IMI standards during your training to upskill in electric vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• NVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds) or equivalent.
• Experience as automotive vehicle technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, diagnostics and servicing of vehicles.
• Deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance.
• Work to Ford/TrustFord processes and safety standards.

Skills

Full UK driving licence

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equiv

Automotive vehicle technician

Ford experience (preferred)

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
