RAC Mobile Mechanics bring their technical expertise to our customers' doors. They perform car services, repairs, and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces. We have a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our rapidly growing team.

We provide the van, tools, and bookings – you bring your personality, customer service skills, and experience. You'll have the full support of a network of other mobile mechanics, roadside technicians, in-house experts, and RAC professionals. What you'll get with the RAC

  • A friendly face who interacts with customers at every appointment, providing advice and representing RAC.
  • Someone who enjoys variety, performing services, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on people's driveways, and handling stock, reporting, and customer interactions.
  • A quick thinker capable of making decisions for customer satisfaction, dealing with a variety of fixes, and meeting different people daily.
You'll need:
  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years practical experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade working with different types of light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving license with less than 6 points.
