Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment firm is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to work in Oxford. The position offers a basic salary of £38,625 with the potential to earn up to £53,000 OTE. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle issues and providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications

Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician. Location: Oxford. Salary: £38,625 basic per annum, OTE £53,000 & overtime 1.5 / A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385. Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays. Ref - 25414

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns and diagnose issues. Aim to get the vehicle back on the road; otherwise arrange for return to the workshop.
• Identify problems and advise the customer on the vehicle’s issues.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
• Represent the business with exceptional customer service as the face of the company.

Requirements

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair acceptable. Open to equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds, IMI or NVQ. Must be able to show qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
