Qualifications

• Must be able to show qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
• Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns and diagnose issues.
• Advise customers on vehicle issues.
• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance.

Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician
Location: Newbury
Salary: £38,625 basic per annum, OTE £50,000 & overtime 1.5 / A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385
Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays

Role responsibilities

• Working closely with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns, diagnose issues, and get vehicles back on the road or return them to the workshop as needed.
• Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical systems & diagnostics.
• Represent the business with exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered. Open to equivalent qualifications (City and Guilds, IMI, NVQ). Must be able to show qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
• Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
