Overview

C&B Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Grimsby. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing various types of vehicles. This is a hands‑on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools. If you have a passion for vehicles and enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, we encourage you to apply. This is a field based role, You will be provided a Company Van and visit clients across the Grimsby region maintaining their vehicles onsite.

Responsibilities
  • Assembly and disassembly of vehicle components according to specifications
  • Use of power tools and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and troubleshoot problems
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components
  • Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repair procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
  • Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
