Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician position in Slough. Salary: £43,625 basic per annum, OTE £58,000 (including London Weighting Allowance, if applicable). Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays. Ref -27942.

We are recruiting across Slough and will tailor the area based on your location. This role is with a leading UK vehicle breakdown company that provides a first-class service to thousands of customers.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns with the breakdown team and diagnose issues on-site, aiming to get the vehicle back on the road or return it to the workshop as needed.
• Identify problems and advise the customer on the vehicle’s issues.
• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical work and diagnostics.
• Act as the face of the business by delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered with equivalent qualifications (City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance, IMI or NVQ). Must be able to show qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
