A leading automotive services provider is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Aberdeen area. The role requires conducting routine servicing, maintaining fleet vehicles, and managing your own schedule on the road. Candidates should be Level 3 qualified technicians with experience in repairing multi-brand vehicles. An MOT tester licence and electric/hybrid qualifications are highly beneficial. Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified technician with experience in automotive repairs.

• Experience with diagnostics and light commercial vehicle servicing.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Mobile Vehicle Technician with a trusted leader in the automotive industry covering the Aberdeen area.

Duties

• Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, including brake inspections and repairs, suspension checks, oil and filter replacements, wheel changes (wheel builds and replacements, no tyre changes).
• Perform light maintenance tasks at customer workshop locations.
• Use built-up rims for wheel changes, returning old wheels as part of the service.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with schedule deadlines.
• Operate efficiently within a mobile team environment, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualified technician.
• Electric/Hybrid qualified – Highly beneficial.
• MOT tester licence – Highly beneficial.
• Confident in the ability to repair and service multi-brand vehicles to a high standard.
• Able to use diagnostics to test and repair faults.
• Able to work independently and manage your own schedule on the road.
• Experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles.
• Can complete job cards correctly.
• Have your own tools for the job.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

The salary for this Mobile Fleet Vehicle Technician role is up to £40,800 basic with an OTE of £46,740. The hours of work for this role are a 42.5 hour working week.
