Job summary

Tyrefix UK is expanding our field team and hiring a Mobile Tyre Fitter/Technician in Reading. You’ll diagnose tyre issues, fit tyres, and carry out repairs on a range of on‑site equipment, from telehandlers to tractors, to keep our clients’ operations moving.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work, a fully equipped van and fuel card, and ongoing training for career growth. On-call rotation is 1 in 4.

Qualifications

• Experience in tyre fitting or mechanical work is preferred.
• Experience with agricultural/construction machinery is suitable.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose tyre issues on customer sites and perform repairs.
• Keep OTR machinery moving and ensure operations run smoothly.

The Role

You’ll be out in the field, keeping OTR machinery moving – from telehandlers to dumpers, tractors to backhoes. Diagnose tyre issues, carry out repairs, and ensure our clients’ operations don’t grind to a halt.

What You Need

• Experience in tyre fitting, mechanical work, or agricultural/construction machinery is ideal—but if you have some commercial experience and want to transition, we’d love to hear from you!
• A full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently & handle a fast‑paced, hands‑on role
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
