Qualifications

  • Qualified to at least NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Experience with EBS diagnostics is a plus.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.
  • A HGV Class 1 Licence is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
  • Complete Job Sheets and Documentation.
  • Liaise with the Service and Parts Departments.
  • Prepare trailers for MOT inspections.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Overview

We are currently seeking a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Transportation solution company, based in the Oxford area.

Duties
  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation
  • Following health and safety guidelines, to maintain a fluid working environment
Requirements
  • You will need to be qualified to at least an NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • EBS diagnostics experience, welding certifications, training or experience with axle manufacturers, or double deck/lifting deck maintenance experience would be highly desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • A HGV Class 1 Licence is high advantageous.
  • Able to produce regular high-quality work.
