• Experience with Trailers including Tail Lifts and Curtain Siders.
• HGV Driving License is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs on Trailers according to procedures.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and report any defects.
• MOT prep and maintain a clean workspace.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Servicing Company based in the Ellesmere Port area.

The successful Mobile Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £36000 with OTE of circa £38000 and working hours of Monday to Friday 45 hours per week.

Duties

• Carrying out repairs on Trailers according to procedures and in a timely safe manner
• Carrying out fault diagnosis
• Reporting any faults/defects in accordance with the processes
• MOT prep
• Keeping your workplace clean and returning equipment to designated areas
• Complying with all health and safety regulations ensuring your workplace is safe at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Trailer / HGV Technician is essential
• Experience with Trailers - Tail Lifts, Curtain Siders etc.
• HGV Driving License would be beneficial but is not essential
• A relevant Level 2/3 qualifications (or equivalent) would be an added advantage but is not essential
• Excellent time keeping skills
• To understand the importance of accuracy.
• To be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to plan ahead effectively and multi-task.
