Job summary

BGIS is seeking an experienced Mobile Supervisor to support multiple prestigious sites across London, ensuring the smooth delivery of hard FM services and providing day-to-day supervision of field engineers.

You will be the go-to contact for technical issues, operational coordination, and service delivery across a varied portfolio. The role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach to problem solving, and a commitment to compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in field operations.
• Strong people management and supervision skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Technical supervision to ensure all services commitments are met.
• Ensure Statutory & Code compliance is adhered to by local management with specialist support.
• Deliver consistent risk management across sites.
• Recognise staffing development needs and action plans.
• Update SSOW mechanical and HV/LV rules.
• Provide technical support to local teams.
• Maintain staffing structures and cross-site competencies.
• Investigate RCA on major incidents and assist.
• Attend operational meetings and site management reviews.
• Promote BGIS management systems across contracts for consistency.
• Engage with site management to resolve local issues.

In this dynamic mobile role, you’ll be the go-to point of contact for technical issues, operational coordination, and service delivery across a varied portfolio.

Key Responsibility

• Responsiblefortechnicalsupervisiontoensurethatalltechnicalservicescommitmentsare met.
• ResponsibleforensuringthatStatutory &Codecomplianceofsitesisadheredtobythe local management team and supported by specialist when required,
• EnsurethatRiskManagementisbeingdeliveredinaconsistentmanner.
• Ensureareasofteamdevelopmentarerecognisedandactionplaninplace,
• UpdatestotheSSOWmechanicalrules
• UpdatestotheSSOWHV/LVrules
• Providetechnicalsupporttolocalteams.
• Ensurestaffingstructuresandcompetenciesoperateacrossallsites always where required.
• InvestigateandassistwithRCA'sonmajorOperationalincidents.
• Attendoperationalmeetingsasrequired.
• ActivelypromotemanagementsystemsandprocessesthathavebeendevelopedforBGIS across all contracts to ensure consistency.
• Attendregularmeetingswithsitemanagementtodiscussanylocalissuesorconcerns.
• Communicateanycontractualconcernswithmanagementtoensureresolution.
• Promoteandmaintainthecorevaluesof BGIS.
• Commercial Awareness and supply chain management understanding
• Supporting with raising quotes, PO's, invoices and budgeting and contracts.

Accountabilities

• ReportingtotheOperations Manager.
• Workingcollaborativelywiththetechnicalservicesteam.
• Responsible for managing a shift team and managing the shift rota.
