A security services company in the UK is seeking a Mobile Security Supervisor for night shifts. The ideal candidate will oversee and support security officers, conduct mobile patrols, and handle alarm responses. Essential requirements include a minimum of 3 years in security supervision, an SIA Licence, and a full UK driving licence. Hours: 36 hours per week
Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, rota-based over 7 days

We are recruiting a Mobile Security Supervisor to support our night-time operations. This is a mobile, driving-based role that involves travelling between sites, responding to alarm activations, carrying out patrols, and supervising security officers on duty.
The role is well suited to individuals from Armed Forces backgrounds or those with strong leadership experience, who are confident working independently, making decisions under pressure, and maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Supervise and support security officers across multiple sites
Conduct mobile patrols, spot checks, and key audits
Respond to alarm activations and emergency call-outs
Handle incoming calls, including alarms and customer enquiries
Confirm staff schedules and carry out welfare checks
Assist HR with staff development, appraisals, and performance reviews
Maintain staff welfare programmes
Write, review, and maintain Health & Safety documentation and Assignment Instructions
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
Complete incident reports and operational documentation to a high standard
Carry out locking and unlocking of buildings at specified times
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a security supervisory role
SIA Licence (Security Guarding and/or Door Supervision)
Full UK driving licence and reliable transport (essential)
Comfortable working in a mobile, driving-based role
Ability to speak and write fluent English to a professional standard
Clean 5-year work and/or education history
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Punctual, professional, smart, and well presented
Strong commitment to customer service and staff welfare
Experience in mobile patrols, alarm response, or keyholding
Previous Armed Forces, emergency services, or similar disciplined background
Stable, permanent employment
Structured leadership role with responsibility and autonomy
