Job summary

Lancashire County Council’s School Meals service is hiring a Mobile Catering Assistant for Lancashire area. The role offers term-time only, part-time hours (16.25 per week) and requires access to your own car.

You will help serve meals, assist with kitchen duties and help maintain a safe, friendly dining space for pupils. Successful candidates will have catering experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous catering and food-preparation experience is essential.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Can cover the Unit Catering Supervisor role during periods of absence.
• Ability to remain calm and work efficiently during busy periods.
