Job summary

St Helens Borough Council is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to cover the borough's 55 primary and 5 secondary schools. The role involves daily cleaning, working alone or in teams, and moving between locations as part of a mobile workforce.

Training is provided, and hours can be 10 or 20 per week. Enhanced DBS disclosure is required; no prior cleaning experience is necessary, and you may be asked to work extra hours to cover shifts.

• No cleaning experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily cleaning routines in line with health and safety policy and procedure.
• Work individually or as part of a team.
• Move between locations as part of the mobile workforce, providing cover and additional hours where needed.
• Communicate with managers, colleagues and members of the public in line with council policy.
