A leading engineering services provider is seeking a Mobile Repair Technician to maintain and repair vehicles for the London Fire Brigade. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a qualified motor vehicle technician, a full UK Driving License, and strong communication skills. Are you looking for an exciting and fulfilling role using your Vehicle Technician skills? This is your opportunity to join Babcock as a Mobile Repair Technician supporting the London Fire Brigade. You will play a key role to keeping the Fire Brigade moving.
Babcock supports the London Fire Brigade with the maintenance and repair of their assets. Your role as Mobile Repair Technician is to inspect, diagnose and repair the fleet in a safe and efficient manner. We are looking for an experienced technician to uphold our high standards and keep to demanding targets.
Your role will be mainly based at London Fire Brigade sites, so you will need to have a professional manner and have the ability to communicate with various stakeholders. This is a rewarding role with varying workload, that will expose you to different situations allowing you to develop. Training will be provided as part of the induction for the role and afterwards as necessary.
As Mobile Repair Technician, your responsibilities will include:
City & Guilds 1 & 2 in Motor Vehicle Studies or equivalent NVQ levels 2 & 3
At least 2 years qualified motor vehicle technician.
A full UK Driving License, Category B.
Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
