A leading engineering company in the UK is seeking a Fridge/AC engineer to join their mobile engineering team. You will maintain service stations within a geographical area, ensuring all tasks are properly completed using a VINCI device. Job description
Overview

As part of the VINCI Shell FM mobile engineering team you will be joining a UK wide team of around 50 mobile engineers, the engineering team is split in to 4 regional UK teams each team has a team leader who you will report to as your direct line manager, ultimately the team report to the UK direct delivery manager.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to assist in the provision of maintenance on the client's service stations. These will generally be within a geographical area normally within a 90‑minute driven distance from your home. Work will be allocated to you by our scheduling team based in Denton Manchester and will be sent via a VINCI tablet device; you will also close your work with this device.

You are expected to provide suitable hand tools. VINCI will provide any specialist tools required for specific tasks and will ensure you have the equipment you need to undertake your job and that equipment is suitably tested and maintained.

Normal working shift is 40 hours split over 5 shifts from 8:00 to 16:30 (half‑hour meal break to be taken on shift) Monday to Friday. Work outside of these hours will be paid at an enhanced rate with prior agreement by VINCI management.

Qualifications

You will be expected to have a minimum of a Gas handling certificate and FGAS qualification and be experienced in maintenance of these types of units able to demonstrate competence as such. You will also be expected to have a good general standard of DIY general and building skills as well as your specific skill set; as the clients needs change this may require specific training for new tasks.

You will be employed in a multi‑task role; however you will have a core skillset / trade (Fridge / AC engineer) that you are specifically employed to deliver on the contract.
