Job summary

Venatu Automotive Group is recruiting experienced Mobile PSV/HGV Engineers for permanent roles across Leicestershire and surrounding areas. You’ll be out on the road, servicing, maintaining and repairing buses and coaches with a company van and door-to-door pay.

Earnings potential up to £60,000 per year with overtime and weekend rates. You’ll work a 38-hour week, Mon-Fri, with overtime opportunities after contracted hours.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent Heavy Vehicle qualification.
• Experience as Heavy Vehicle Technician or HGV mechanic.
• Willingness to work mobile/field-based engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing buses and coaches.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out roadside repairs.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance.

Venatu Automotive is recruiting experienced Mobile PSV/HGV Engineers for permanent roles across Leicestershire and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to swap the workshop for the open road, with a company van, door-to-door pay and the potential to earn up to £60,000 per year.

You don't need previous bus or coach experience if you're a qualified HGV Engineer with the relevant technical skills.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

• 38-hour contracted working week
• Paid door-to-door – from leaving home until returning
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Overtime available after contracted hours
• Monday to Friday – first 38 hours - £19.64
• Monday–Friday overtime: £26.00 per hour
• Saturday overtime: £29.00 per hour
• Sunday / Bank Holiday overtime: £39.00 per hour
• Excellent technical and operational support

THE ROLE

As a Mobile PSV Engineer, you'll be out on the road providing essential engineering support to customers across Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

You'll be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing buses and coaches
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out roadside repairs
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues
• Carrying out preventative maintenance

You'll work independently in the field while being supported by an experienced engineering team.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’d love to hear from:

• Heavy Vehicle Technicians
• HGV Mechanics looking to move into mobile engineering
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent Heavy Vehicle qualification
• Previous PSV, HGV or Bus & Coach engineering experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
