Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team in Swindon and surrounding areas. You will service and repair a range of plant machinery, including excavators, loaders and telehandlers, with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role offers a competitive salary of £38,000–£45,000 with van, overtime, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and bonus scheme. Full UK driving license required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fitter/technician with plant machinery.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical system knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, servicing and repairs on plant machinery (excavators, loaders, dumpers, telehandlers).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service on-site and maintain client relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks on schedule.
