Mobile Plant Field Service Engineer – Hertfordshire

Mobile plant field-based role covering Hertfordshire. Hourly rate up to £19 per hour, with enhanced overtime: 1.5× Mon‑Sat & 2.0× Sundays & bank holidays. 40‑hour week Monday–Friday. The company provides a van, laptop, and mobile phone; work is filtered down to you from head office.

Previous plant experience required. Do you have experience working with plant equipment? Looking for mobile field-based work with some of the best hours and perks in the industry? If so, this could be the perfect job for you.

Our client, a well‑established and recognised plant business throughout the UK, is expanding their team and adding additional forklift engineers to cover Hertfordshire.

Duties
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment.
  • Service a wide variety of forklifts both on and off site.
  • Work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Provide good customer service.
Expectations & Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on forklifts.
  • Previous plant experience required.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent verbal, written and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
