Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Limited is seeking a Plant Technician to join the growing Plant division in Exeter. You will ensure plant equipment is maintained to the highest standard, perform repairs, inspections and routine service to minimise downtime.

We value a team player who is self-motivated, flexible and holds a full UK driving license. Real living wage with development opportunities and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent) or 2 years’ evidence-based experience in engineering.
• Team player who supports colleagues.
• Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work environments.
• A full UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out equipment repair and pre-hire inspections.
• Maintain plant equipment to high standards.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
• Service and inspect equipment regularly.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness, functionality and compliance.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing Plant division? We are looking for a talented Plant Technician to join our team to ensure our plant equipment is maintained to the highest standard whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Equipment repair and pre hire inspections
• Maintenance of equipment
• Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
• Service and inspection of all equipment
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance

About You
