A leading civil engineering firm in Wellingborough is seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to maintain and repair mechanical plant equipment both in the workshop and on-site. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, mentor junior team members, and support maintenance of complex mechanical systems. Strong experience in plant maintenance, along with a mechanical engineering qualification like NVQ Level 3, is essential. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Location: Specialist Plant Associates, Wellingborough
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
To carry out maintenance and repair of mechanical plant equipment within the workshop and on-site as required. The mobile plant fitter will be supported by the Plant manager and Workshop Foreman, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while mentoring junior team members and promoting best practices.
