A leading civil engineering firm in Wellingborough seeks a Plant Fitter to maintain and repair mechanical plant equipment both onsite and in the workshop. Candidates should have strong experience in plant maintenance with a focus on hydraulic systems and excellent health and safety knowledge. The role supports mentorship of junior staff and compliance with safety legislations. This position offers competitive salary, bonuses, and a range of employee benefits.

To carry out maintenance and repair of mechanical plant equipment within the workshop and on-site as required. The mobile plant fitter will be supported by the Plant manager and Workshop Foreman, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while mentoring junior team members and promoting best practices.
