Job summary

PlantLink Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter in Hertfordshire, UK. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy construction plant, diagnosing faults, and attending breakdowns to keep equipment running.

The ideal candidate has proven experience with heavy construction plant and a valid UK driving licence. A company vehicle will be provided plus pension, holiday and sick pay, with a permanent position available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Plant Fitter or similar on heavy construction plant.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Experience with site-based on-site service and repair.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair mobile and on-site equipment.
• Diagnose faults to determine appropriate repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and restore equipment to working condition.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Provide a high standard of customer service while working on-site.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime at 1.5x Rate

Location: Hertfordshire

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer or similar
• Experience working on heavy construction plant
• Full UK Driving Licence
