Are you an experienced Plant Fitter with a passion for keeping construction equipment running smoothly? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Plant Technician to join our team, working across multiple London areas including SE1, SE26, SE16, E17, E6, IG11, EN2, W3, NW3, SW17, BR3, BR5, as well as our Motney depot.

You’ll play a vital role in servicing and repairing a wide range of construction plant machinery, supporting our operations throughout these locations.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in
  • Service and maintain a variety of company plant assets, including towable equipment
  • Carry out timely repairs to minimise equipment downtime
  • Provide excellent customer service both on-site and in the workshop
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with the workshop supervisor and other team members
  • Assist colleagues across the Plant team as needed
  • Attend emergency breakdowns on-site when required

This hands‑on and varied role offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites and with a diverse range of equipment, ensuring machinery is kept in excellent condition and minimizing disruption for our clients.

We would love to hear from you if

You hold a recognised qualification in plant maintenance such as an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent, along with solid hands‑on experience maintaining construction plant equipment. You should be self‑motivated with strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.

A full, clean UK driving licence is essential due to the mobile nature of the role.

Remaining calm under pressure and efficiently getting machinery back up and running is vital. The ability to work independently as well as support your wider team will be key to your success in this role.
