Mobile Plant Engineer – Field Service

Location & Hours

• Remote – Opportunities across the UK
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (42.5 hours/week)
• Pay: £40,000 – £44,500 Basic; £60,000 – £70,000 OTE (door-to-door)

A well‑established and respected main dealer is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to join their expanding team across multiple UK locations. Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of construction and plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Perform breakdown and planned maintenance at customer sites.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and create digital service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Qualifications or time‑served experience as a Field Service or Mobile Plant Engineer
• Solid understanding of modern hydraulics, diesel engines, and diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and manage customer expectations on‑site

Preferred Requirements

• Background with OEM/dealership equipment
• Quarry or heavy earthmoving experience desirable
• CSCS / IPAF / Quarry Passport
