A leading dealership group is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer for a remote role across the UK. Qualifications

• Qualifications or time-served experience as a Field Service or Mobile Plant Engineer.
• Solid understanding of modern hydraulics, diesel engines, and diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and manage customer expectations on-site.

Mobile Plant Engineer – Field Service

Location: Remote – Opportunities across the UK

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (42.5 hours/week)

Pay: Door-to-door | £40,000 – £44,500 Basic | £60,000 – £70,000 OTE

Role

• Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of construction and plant equipment
• Diagnose faults across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Perform breakdown and planned maintenance at customer sites

Requirements

Essential

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Qualifications or time‑served experience as a Field Service or Mobile Plant Engineer
• Solid understanding of modern hydraulics, diesel engines, and diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and manage customer expectations on‑site

Preferred

• Background with OEM/dealership equipment
• Quarry or heavy earthmoving experience desirable
• CSCS / IPAF / Quarry Passport
