Osborne Appointments seeks a Mobile Phone Repair Technician in Wellingborough to join a well-established client. You will diagnose faults, perform modular repairs on smartphones, order OEM replacement parts, and maintain accurate repair records.

The role offers training, progression to OEM Certified Repair Technician status, and opportunities within a growing global organisation. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a salary between £28,000 and £32,000 per annum.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience within an electronics repair or test environment.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and online systems.
• Ability to follow processes, work instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mobile phone faults using OEM tools and testing software.
• Carry out modular repairs, including device disassembly, component replacement, reassembly and post-repair testing.
• Identify and order the correct replacement components from OEM suppliers.
• Maintain high standards of repair quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Complete repair records and update internal systems accurately.
• Work towards and maintain OEM Certified Repair Technician status through online training.
• Meet daily repair output targets whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Support colleagues through knowledge sharing, cross-training and technical guidance.
• Identify and elevate technical, quality or process issues where required.
• Support customer service teams with repair queries and escalations.

Role: Mobile Phone Repair Technician

Location: Wellingborough

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 16:00PM

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Mobile Phone Repair Technicians to join a well-established client based in Wellingborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electronics background who enjoys fault-finding, diagnostics and smartphone repairs. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced electronics or technical environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, develop new skills and support continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of iOS, Apple devices and Mac systems would be advantageous.
• Experience using hand/power tools, multimeters or automated testing equipment would be beneficial.
