Job summary

Securitas in Wakefield is seeking a Mobile Patrol Officer for 32 hours per week at £13.45 per hour. The role involves patrolling, incident response, and high-quality customer service to protect people and property.

You will perform security duties across diverse sites, with training provided. A valid SIA licence and UK work rights are essential, along with flexibility for day and night shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Manual Driving Licence.
• Mobile patrol officer experience preferred but not essential.
• Physically fit for patrolling site.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile security services: patrols, alarm response, property checks, escorts.
• Remain professional, polite and helpful to clients, staff and colleagues.
• Take direction from the Team Leaders.
• Always wear the company uniform and display SIA license and security ID.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the start and end of shift.
• While driving the company vehicle, follow the Highway Code and drive with due care.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services etc.
• Remaining professional, polite and helpful to clients, client’s staff and Securitas colleagues at all times.
• Taking direction from the Team Leaders.
• Always wears the company uniform. Including visually always displaying SIA license and security ID card.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift.
• Whist driving the company vehicle abides by the rules of the road, (Highway code) and always drives with due care and attention, being courteous to other road users, and does not bring the company name or brand into disrepute.
