Job description

Purpose

As a Mobile Security Officer the role involves providing mobile security services and world-class client service across multiple sites within a designated area. Duties include :

• Performing tasks such as locks / unlocks escort services alarm responses vacant property inspections and patrols.
• Protecting clients people property and assets while upholding Securitas core values : Integrity Vigilance Helpfulness .

Responsibilities

• Mobile Security Services : Deliver a range of services (locks / unlocks internal / external patrols alarm responses vacant property inspections escort services).
• Professional Conduct : Maintain a polite professional and helpful attitude toward clients and colleagues.
• Team Direction : Follow instructions from Team Leaders and collaborate effectively.
• Uniform & Identification : Wear company uniform and display SIA licence and ID card.
• Vehicle Management : Complete vehicle handovers and checks at shift start / end.
• Safe Driving : Follow Highway Code drive carefully maintain company reputation.
• Key Management : Adhere to correct processes for handling keys.
• Assignment Completion : Follow site instructions and conduct risk assessments.
• Incident Escalation : Follow escalation processes for incidents break-ins health and safety issues and traffic accidents.
• Reporting : Use GRS / SMP correctly ensure accurate data capture with photos.
• Compliance : Follow SOP13 and SOP18 understand drivers handbook and agreement.
• Flexibility : Be able to work across Branch Guarding districts and assist other branches.
• Asset Security : Secure company assets (including PDAs) and ensure functionality.

Qualifications

• The right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements).
• Strong communication skills in Englishboth written and spoken.
• Minimum of one year of mobile security experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
