Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Mobile Patrol Officer in Bellshill, UK. The role provides security for people and property, with comprehensive training and opportunities for advancement. Flexible shift coverage (days, nights, weekends) and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Mobile patrol officer experience is preferred but not essential.
• Physically fit for patrolling of site.
• Right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of mobile security services including patrols, alarm response, inspections and escort services.
• Maintain professionalism and be helpful to clients, staff and colleagues at all times.
• Take direction from Team Leaders and follow company policies.
• Wear the uniform and display SIA license and security ID.
• Complete vehicle handovers and pre/post shift checks.
• Drive the company vehicle in line with the Highway Code and protect the company name.

Location: Bellshill, UK (Free parking on site)
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 12 hours per week + Overtime available - Days, Nights and Weekends availability is required.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services etc.
• Remaining professional, polite and helpful to clients, client’s staff and Securitas colleagues at all times.
• Taking direction from the Team Leaders.
• Always wears the company uniform. Including visually always displaying SIA license and security ID card.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift.
• Whist driving the company vehicle abides by the rules of the road, (Highway code) and always drives with due care and attention, being courteous to other road users, and does not bring the company name or brand into disrepute.
