Job summary

A local council authority in London is seeking a Mobile Park Ranger to maintain the safety and cleanliness of parks while supporting community use and events. The role requires strong communication skills, park maintenance experience, and a full UK driving license. Flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, are essential. This full-time, fixed-term contract extends from October 2025 to September 2026.

Qualifications

  • Experience in park maintenance, security, or similar outdoor work.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Full UK Driving License (Category B).
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and risk assessment principles.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather.

Job description

As a Mobile Park Ranger, you will provide a visible and professional presence across our parks, helping to ensure they are safe, clean, and enjoyable for all visitors. You will support community use, events, and environmental care while working closely with internal teams and external groups.

Qualifications and Experience

  • DBS clearance may be required
Desirable
  • Health & Safety Certification (e.g. IOSH)
