Job summary

Specsavers in Kent is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to bring eyecare directly to patients in their homes. You will travel across the Kent region, dispensing lenses and delivering professional care to vulnerable customers, with a flexible pattern as required.

We offer a salary of £26,852 per year, a car allowance of £3,000 annually, pension enrollment, WeCare support, and extra paid day off on your birthday; 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Current or previous optical experience (6 months–1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye care to vulnerable patients in their own homes across the Kent region.
• Confidently dispense lenses at all levels during home visits.
• Travel across the Kent region to cover home-visit appointments.
