Job summary

Workplace Doctors is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to deliver a range of health surveillance and post offer assessments. The role involves infection screening, phlebotomy, and supporting nursing staff, with responsibilities across client sites in Berkshire and the mobile unit.

You will manage equipment, stock, and data entry while upholding professional standards and compliance. You should be able to drive the mobile unit, communicate clearly, and work both independently and as part

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent technical certificates such as phlebotomy.
• HAVS Tiers 1 & 2 qualification is required.
• Phlebotomy experience or certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health surveillance and post offer health assessments per contract.
• Carry out infection and immunity screening and action results per policy.
• Operate in clinics and on client premises delivering OH services.
• Support clinical activities and assist nursing staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock levels and equipment in clinical areas.
• Undertake clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, BP, drug and alcohol screening.
• Undertake drivers medicals, Well Person medicals and other OH services.
• Conduct workplace visits and promote employee health and wellbeing.
• Ensure screening protocols are followed and reports are filed daily.
