Job summary

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a reliable Mobile Domestic Caretaker to provide high quality cleaning across NHS health centres in Leeds. You will travel between sites, covering staff absence, so flexibility and a full driving licence are essential.

Hours are 20 per week, 4:00pm–8:00pm, Monday to Friday, in multiple locations across the city.

You will monitor cleaning stock, operate equipment safely, and work independently as a lone worker, with basic IT skills to record tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple NHS health centres.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe environment across NHS health centres.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning stock.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Work independently as a lone worker and cover staff absence.
• Carry out moving and handling tasks as required.
• Use basic computer systems to record and report tasks.
