Mobile Multiskilled Electrical Engineer - £48,000

The Role

As a Mobile Building Services Engineer, you will:

  • Lead on electrical maintenance, fault resolution, and compliance across client sites.
  • Attend multiple sites as directed by the Service Desk to meet operational requirements.
  • Support wider building services, including basic mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC tasks where required.
  • Respond to emergencies, completing repairs safely and efficiently.
  • Provide technical advice and professional client communication on site.
  • Promote and adhere to Health & Safety and electrical regulations at all times.
  • Commit to continuous development, staying up to date with the latest electrical technologies and standards.
  • This is a mobile role requiring flexibility and occasional work outside standard hours to ensure service continuity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned, reactive, and statutory electrical maintenance on systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarm interfaces, and control systems.
  • Diagnose, isolate, and repair electrical faults.
  • Support small installation works, upgrades, and system modifications.
  • Accurately complete all electrical certification and compliance documentation.
  • Provide multi‑skilled support where required (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Attend and resolve electrical emergencies promptly and professionally.
Essential Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary up to £48,000 per annum.

  • 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm).
  • Call‑out rota: 1 in 7 weeks (£150 standby).
