Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in commercial environments.
• Proficient in maintaining a safe working environment as per HASAW 1974.
• Domestic gas tickets preferable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of clients' buildings through maintenance tasks.
• Provide maintenance service meeting SLAs and KPIs.
• Report system deficiencies using manual and digital platforms.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer -commercial Gas Bias, to work with a range of Mitie clients within the Local Government and Education Sector, providing all relevant day to day Hard Services activities, including carrying out Planned, Reactive, Quoted and Minor Works on the Building Services Assets, providing an end to end Proactive and Reactive Service to our end line user, ensuring their Buildings and Estates remain Open, Safe, Fit and Compliant.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our Clients Buildings and Estates remain Open, Safe, Fit and Compliant through completion of both Planned and Reactive maintenance tasks.
• Provide a partnering style maintenance service that ensures all Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met, feedback is provided timely to our onsite contacts and colleagues, liaising with both contractors and/or external suppliers as required.
• Report system deficiencies through both Manual (paper) and Digital (mobile) platforms. Basic Reporting, Quoting and Condition Appraisal will be necessary.
• Represent client-facing skills at the highest standard, working in line with all Legislation, Standards and Approved Codes of Practice.
• Implement Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAW), Company Policies and Procedures, ensuring deficiencies that may result in personnel injury or environmental damage are reported.
• Supervise work of those under your supervision to be completed safely and diligently.
• Participate in training to enhance skills and exceed service delivery expectations.
