Job summary

A leading building services contractor is seeking a Mobile Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to maintain and repair electrical systems across large commercial properties along the M4/M40. Candidates must have experience in building services and a valid UK driving licence. Competitive salary, van provided, and additional benefits including call-out pay and holiday entitlement.

• An Electrical or Mechanical qualification is an advantage.
• Experience and knowledge in building services is a must.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Live within commutable distance from M4/M40.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPMs and reactive breakdowns on electrical and mechanical plant.
• Conduct Emergency lighting checks.
• Execute Battery drain downs and lamping duties.
• Handle small remedial works on electrical power.
• Carry out PPMs and reactive breakdowns on AHU’s and FCU’s.

Mobile Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Engineer

A leading Building services maintenance contractor has a key requirement for a Mobile M&E Building Services Engineer across several large commercial properties along the M4/M40. The role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs on electrical building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPMs and reactive breakdowns on electrical and mechanical plant.
• Conduct Emergency lighting checks.
• Execute Battery drain downs and lamping duties.
• Handle small remedial works on electrical power.
• Carry out PPMs and reactive breakdowns on AHU’s and FCU’s.
• Cover sites along the M4/M40 corridor.

Benefits

• Basic salary of £39k, dependent on experience.
• Van provided.
• Call‑out pay of £100 for 1 in 20 callouts with a minimum of 4 hours paid if called out.
• Holiday entitlement.
