Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide light vehicle maintenance and diagnostic services directly to customers on driveways and office car parks.
  • Handle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks across a range of light vehicles.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Conduct reporting and maintain accurate records.
  • Engage with customers, give advice, and maintain a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Remuneration and Working Hours
  • Competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings up to £50,000.
  • Option to increase base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
  • Guaranteed overtime available.
  • 40 hours per week, core hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Equipment and Support
  • Fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.
  • Full training and support from day one.

  • Earnings: base salary of £38,625 with possible earnings up to £50,000 via bonuses and premium‑rate overtime.
  • Guaranteed overtime: after one month, opt to work extra rest days at £30 per hour.
