Randstad C&P in North Shields is looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client’s national facilities management team. This mobile role covers routine electrical maintenance across commercial properties with a 40-hour week.

You’ll need NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th Edition, a full UK driving licence, and proven fault-finding skills. The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£23–£25), company van, and opportunities for permanent work.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance electrician role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and maintenance practices.

Mansioni

• Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair.
• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to electrical systems.
• Carry out electrical installations, testing, and commissioning of systems in line with 18th Edition regulations.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and legislation.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, identifying and rectifying issues promptly.
• Execute minor joinery tasks, minor plumbing repairs, minor fabric maintenance and support other team members with general maintenance tasks as needed.
