Job summary

InHealth Group is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) for the Lung Cancer Screening Programme across mobile sites in the South East. The role involves welcoming patients, supporting clinicians, and handling data with confidentiality while traveling between sites.

You will contribute to a seven-day service, including bank holidays, with emphasis on compassionate care, patient dignity, and safety across diverse locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a patient or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and patient management systems.
• Flexible, team-oriented with travel across sites.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guide them through their screening journey with empathy and professionalism.
• Support clinical colleagues in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
• Assist with patient handovers between screening and CT scan locations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Help manage clinic flow, support scheduling, and respond to patient queries.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control.
