Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our team at the Newcastle branch, covering Harrogate and surrounding areas. The role offers extensive on-the-job training and a clear path to growth, with a base salary of £26,655 per year and an OTE of £30,000–£35,000.

You’ll work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime and increased earnings. Benefits include a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform, RI Rewards, and access to private healthcare and pension

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with up to six penalty points.
• Self-motivated, reliable and proactive.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Working reactively in a fast-paced business where work can change from week to week.
• On-call rota (typical twice a quarter).
• Offering valuable advice to customers when required.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Be self‑motivated, reliable and proactive.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• Be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
