Job summary

Pirtek Crawley is seeking a proactive Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician to join our service centre and surrounding areas in Crawley. The role involves on-site hose replacement, servicing hydraulic hoses, and joining a 24-hour on-call rota.

Applicants should have a mechanical/engineering background, hold a full UK driving licence, and be willing to undergo an online licence check. Training will be provided, with weekend and bank holiday rosters.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in mechanical plant or engineering preferred.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional on-site hose replacement service to Pirtek customers.
• Be part of a 24-hour on-call rota with other technicians.
• Maintain stock levels in the MSU and manage documentation.
• Keep the MSU clean and tidy inside and out.
• Attend Pirtek training courses as requested.
• Promote Pirtek products and services within your territory.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE.
