Mobile HGV / Trailer Technician

Location: Bristol & Newport • Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE • Hours: 8am - 6pm + Call-Outs | Overtime After 40 Hours (Time & ½)

We are looking for an experienced Mobile HGV / Trailer Technician to join our team, supporting customers across Bristol and Newport. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems on the road, and delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment
• Carry out roadside breakdowns and call-outs
• Complete inspections, maintenance, and safety checks
• Accurately record all work completed
• Provide excellent customer service while working independently

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Trailer Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• HGV Class 1 or 2 licence beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Flexibility to participate in call‑out rota
