Qualifications

  • Develop strong customer relations.
  • Possess previous mechanical experience with a technical understanding.
  • Hold a Mobile HGV Technician qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing and general repairs of HGVs and trailers.
  • Identify and resolve breakdowns efficiently.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and connectivity.
  • Fix any defects and manage breakdowns/recovery.

Skills

Overview

Mobile HGV Technician – Location: Stirling Depot – Covering Central Belt. Salary: up to £22.05 + Van + Fuel Card. Hours: Sunday - Wednesday - 6PM - 6AM. Shift: 45 Hours Per Week.

They have been established for over 60 years and are the leaders in bulk transport and logistics. With a huge fleet of over 200 vehicles, 600+ trailers and tankers with the most up to date safety features. They are seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join their team.

Role responsibilities
  • You will be carrying out servicing & general repairs of several makes of HGV's and trailers
  • You will identify and resolve breakdowns efficiently and effectively
  • You will be dealing with diagnostic testing and connectivity
  • You will be fixing any defects
  • Breakdowns and recovery
Required qualifications and skills
  • Ability to develop strong customer relations
  • Previous mechanical experience and a strong technical understanding
  • Mobile HGV Technician qualification (NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification or City & Guilds level 2 or 3)
  • Confident in working on your own
