Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting a Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy workshop network. The role covers Hull with the hub in Immingham and travel to Gainsborough and Grantham. A company van is provided for travel and there is a structured, full-time pattern with overtime opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years’ HGV maintenance experience, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), strong diagnostics skills, and a valid UK driving licence. Salary is £37,000-£40,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial)

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 06:00-14:00/ 08:00-16:00

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Hull. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable, full-time role with a competitive hourly rate and structured working pattern. The hub for this role will be in Immingham, and there will be travel also to Gainsborough and Grantham. From time to time you will work in the Hull Depot, but a company van will be provided for company travel.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial)
