Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are seeking an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Hull. The role covers a hub in Immingham with travel to Gainsborough and Grantham, including time at the Hull Depot. A company van will be provided for travel.

The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs, with strong diagnostic skills and a focus on safety and quality. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as an HGV Technician/Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence; HGV licence beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.
• Work effectively as part of a fast-paced team.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 06:00-14:00/ 08:00-16:00

Salary: £37,000-£40,000

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Hull. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable, full-time role with a competitive hourly rate and structured working pattern. The hub for this role will be in Immingham, and there will be travel also to Gainsborough and Grantham. From time to time you will work in the Hull Depot, but a company van will be provided for company travel.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial)
