A leading automotive solutions provider is seeking an HGV Technician Mobile to perform on-site servicing and repairs across customer locations in Greater London. The role requires experience as a Mobile Technician ideally in a main dealership environment, with NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification and a full UK driving licence. Candidates with HGV licence are preferred. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Mobile Technician / Mechanic role, ideally in a main dealership environment.
• Extensive experience with diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Experience with electric vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site servicing and repairs at customer locations.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and ensure all defects are addressed.
• Maintain detailed records for each job carried out.

Job description

HGV Technician Mobile, Merseyside

Salary: £17.40 per hour plus 5% bonus paid bi annually

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 07.00- 16.30

About the role

Carry out on-site servicing and repairs using comprehensive system specialist knowledge and a high diagnostic authority. To attend customer locations daily and manage your efficiently between sites, reacting to urgent and reported defects promptly and efficiently.

Attending customer sites to service and repair vehicles on customer premises

Ensuring all defects reported by the customer are actioned

Conducting fleet checks on customers vehicles whilst managing your time effectively around customer deadlines and schedules

Carrying out independently extensive orders for repair and re-establishing the serviceability of the customer's vehicle

Ensuring vehicles are safe to use

Speaking with customers and examining vehicles to diagnose problems with specialist diagnostic equipment

If possible, fixing the fault on-site and if necessary, making suitable arrangements if it isn't possible to fix the problem on-site for the vehicle to be taken to and repaired in the workshop

Completing servicing in line with manufacturer's guidelines

Maintaining detailed and accurate records as required for each job carried out

Experience Required

Previous experience in a similar Mobile Technician / Mechanic role, ideally in a main dealership environment

NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification in either Heavy Goods Vehicles or Light Vehicles, depending on role

Full UK driving licence

HGV licence (desirable)

Extensive experience with diagnostic equipment

Experience with electric vehicles
